David is a very experienced planning solicitor who has previously worked as the Head of the Planning department at large corporate law firms in the private sector and as a lawyer working in local government.
His expertise has been acknowledged in legal directories and surveys. He is also dual qualified as a Legal Associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute (LARTPI) and specialises in planning and environmental law, including advising on planning applications, environmental issues and planning conditions and legal agreements for a wide range of developments.
David also has significant expertise in related areas of law, such as compulsory purchase, town and village greens, highways and rights of way.
In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, particularly cycling, sea kayaking, mountaineering, cricket and golf. He is also a Non-Executive Director of two large charities.
